Located on a narrow, private street above the Chateau Marmont, this dramatic home was a passion project for our client, a former MLB pitcher- the distinctive facade is an abstraction of his movements on the field. In order to accommodate the extensive program, we excavated much of the site in order to accommodate a display garage, water garden, game room, cocktail lounge, theater, and extensive spa facilities.
With jetliner views over the city grid, the project site consists of a level pad bounded by nearly vertical ascending and descending cliff faces.
